Website Design

Different styles of website are available which are suitable for different client requirements.

Brochure Style Websites

A Brochure Style website is a way of telling the general public who you or your company are, what you can do for them and how they can contact you. It is the internet version of a printed brochure, in that you can fill it with text and photographs for potential customers to view. You can show examples of what you sell or provide, reproduce customer testimonials to show how previous clients were happy, and can make it easy for people to contact you by giving your telephone numbers, address and e-mail contact details or a contact form.

Prices start at £250 for a 6 page website. Extra costs will be incurred for any additional design work (e.g. designing a logo) or for image manipulation.

Brochure Style Plus

An extension of a basic brochure style website is to add in a text file which can be easily updated by the website owner. For example, for a holiday property, the file could hold rates and vacancy details. Prices start at £300.

CMS Websites

CMS stands for Content Management System and basically means a website which is designed for you to your specification, but which enables you to easily update the content held on your site. This is via an easy-to-use interface, which is similar to using Word Processing software.

This style of website is more complicated to set up, but should mean reduced maintenance costs in the long run.

Prices start at £400 for a 6 page website. Extra costs will be incurred for any additional design work (e.g. designing a logo) or for image manipulation.

eCommerce Websites

An eCommerce website is a way of selling goods or services, and receiving payment over the internet. It can be as simple as a system to sell just one product, to a website with a database of hundreds of different products.

Prices start at £500.
